The Unfors Xi, now in its Platinum Edition, is a complete system for multiparameter measurements on all modalities. This includes R/F, Mammo, Dental and CT with added options for luminance and illuminance measurements of medical monitors as well as a detector for scatter and leakage radiation measurements. The Unfors Xi Prestige Platinum is the ultimate QA solution fitted into a small and portable Aluminium Case. All Unfors Xi Detectors are interchangeable and function with any respective Base Unit.
The Unfors Xi system can simultaneously measure kVp, dose, dose rate, HVL, pulse, pulse rate, dose/frame, mA, mAs, time and waveforms. These measured values of kVp and dose are automatically corrected, utilizing Active Compensation, to provide you with an accurate and corrected value.
By using multiple sensors and advanced algorithms, the Unfors Xi automatically determines the beam quality and corrects for any added filtration – with minimal setup time. Acquiring your first exposure takes less than a minute.

The Unfors Xi View – Reporting and analysis on the PC
Unfors Xi View is a stand-alone program which displays and stores all exposure data including kV, radiation and mA waveforms as measured by the Unfors Xi. The software can also be used to control the Unfors Xi remotely from a PC. Unfors Xi View stores data in an XML or CSV format for later retrieval, analysis and reports. There are two ways to communicate with Unfors Xi View: Via the RS-232 cable to the PC or via an optional Bluetooth module connected directly to the Unfors Xi serial port. Data can be directly transferred into Excel™ by selecting a book and sheet in a template.
All measured data and graphs can be copied into other Windows programs by using copy and paste. This flexibility allows you to design your own report, or use your own Excel™ based report.

The Unfors Xi MAM detector can be ordered with optional calibrations:
- Scanning mammography calibrations for kVp, dose and direct HVL on W/Al
- M-Pro calibrations for kVp, dose and direct HVL on Mo/Rh and W/Rh plus dose and direct HVL measurements on W/Ag.
The Unfors Xi can be upgraded at any time as our need changes. The detectors are interchangeable between Base Units with compatible firmware. All Unfors Xi can be updated to the Platinum edition. Please ask you sales representative for more information.
