The TBA 1D air scanner is a one-dimensional stainless steel moving mechanism for profile measurements using a small volume radiation detector. The device includes a stepper motor for precise detector positioning. The detector moving range is 600 mm. Cable plugs and a holding device for two connectors of the field detector and the reference detector are included. A detector holding device to be mounted to the moving mechanism is required in addition, depending on the detector type. The device is operated by the TBA electronics and the MEPHYSTO software.
The table-top air scanner includes a base plate for the placement of the air scanner on the table-top of the treatment couch to measure at vertical beam incidence.
