The MP3 water reservoir carriage serves for storing water for the MP3 phantom tank, since the water should not be left in the acrylic tank after use. The acrylic material would absorb water and change the geometrical dimensions. A built-in centrifugal pump with self-suction makes it possible to pump the water into the phantom tank before use and back into the reservoir after use. The conveying capacity is 30 l/min and a complete pumping period is 7 minutes. The pump direction can be switched by means of the electromagnetic valves. The built-in 220 liter water reservoir is made of polypropylene (PP). This feature combined with the stainless steel pump ensures clean water storage over a long time. Large castors make the carriage easy to move. Activated wheel stops keep the carriage in position. Two covered compartments on top of the carriage can be used for the storage of dosimetry accessories.
