DIADEM is an economic and easy-to-handle device for measuring the entrance dose and the entrance dose rate during radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations. The basic unit consists of the measuring amplifier with a bright, easy-to-read LED display. It is fitted with a test, reset and print button, which make it possible to check the calibration, setup the device and print the measuring results via a connected label printer. The transparent rectangular DIADEM ionization chamber is mounted directly to the collimator of the X-ray tube by using appropriate adaptation rails.
The DIADEM dosemeter is particularly suitable for retrofitting existing equipment and for use with mobile X-ray installations. It meets the requirements of international standards including the proposed rules of the performance standard for diagnostic X-ray systems, published by the Food and Drug Administration, USA.
