The lead absorber T33003.1.140 accommodates 99mTc samples to check a possible molybdenum breakthrough of 99mTc generators. It absorbs the low-energy 99mTc radiation totally, but not the high-energy 99Mo radiation.
Plastic liners are used to insert measuring samples such as vials and syringes into the well chamber.
