When dose calibrator “E” vial sources are purchased from Capintec, we provide an 18 month decay calendar for each source at no charge. After 18 months (or if the source was purchased elsewhere) you will need a decay calendar, decayed by day, to check the accuracy of your equipment.
Capintec can provide a source decay schedule covering 12 months for any source or set of sources. All we require is the Lot number (for identification), nuclide name, original activity and date of calibration.
