Capintec offers two rod sources for use with the CAPRAC and CAPRAC-R to perform the auto-calibration function. The Cs-137 source has a nominal activity of 0.5 µCi and the Ba-133 source is 0.1 µCi. If you do not have a rod source of Cs-137 or Ba-133 in your department, one of these sources should be ordered when purchasing your CAPRAC or CAPRAC-R.
